The Cultural Heritage of Pécs

The Cultural Heritage of Pécs course offers students the opportunity to learn on-site, to get to know the cultural heritage preserved in Pécs museums and other heritage sites, from local history through church and university history till art history. On-site learning and museum visits are complemented by two classroom lessons, where students learn about Hungary's history, cultural heritage and traditions. In addition to cultural heritage and local history, the course also reveals the extent to which the infrastructural developments of the Pécs European Capital of Culture 2010 project affect the current cultural life of Pécs.
